I spoke to yet another client today that was submitted for a new role through a recruitment consultant and got down to the last 2 candidates and despite having all the qualifications etc was overlooked for the other candidate that came to the employer direct.

The placement fee charged by recruiters to hire you IS A BARRIER TO YOU GETTING THE JOB . The reality is if it is down to 2 similar candidates and one comes with a $20-$30K placement fee this does influence the companies decision on who they hire. (This is fact as my HR & other clients that hire new team members have confirmed this ). #Placementfeesareabarriertoyouremployment .
